Everyone is invited to the AARP Block Party in Bismarck! The former Mayor of Bismarck and current Burleigh County Commissioner Steve Bakken and Josh Askvig North Dakota State Director at AARP ND talk about the bodacious block party on TownSquare Media’s SuperTalk1270AM.
On Tuesday, July 30 from 6-8 p.m. AARP North Dakota, Bismarck Burleigh Public Health and 8 80 Cities will transform North Central Park and 8th Avenue in Bismarck into a place for play and neighborly connection.
All generations are welcome to this family-focused event that will bring live music, community art, and recreational activities like pickleball and yoga to the park. Food available to purchase.

6:30-7:30 p.m. Music with the Mooncats
7:30-8 p.m. Puppy yoga with Transitions Yoga and Furry Friends Rockin' Rescue
In addition to Bismarck Burleigh Public Health, AARP ND is working with 880 Cities, a non-profit with a mission to ignite action and challenge the status quo to create healthier, more equitable, and sustainable cities for all people.
The Bismarck Block Party is part of AARPND's livable work in which we support the efforts of North Dakota's neighborhoods, towns, cities and rural areas to be great places for people of all ages to live and grow.
